Our 1 yo staffy, Ninja was always clingy but eventually developed severe separation anxiety. He started escaping constantly (ending in some very expensive visits to the vet) and when kept inside while we were away, he was chewing up windows and leaving a lovely mess for me to mop up after work. We were advised by the vet to see a dog therapist but thought it would be best to get some basic dog training in before spending $800 on a 2 hr session with a dog therapist. BEST. IDEA. EVER. After just one lesson with Graham, the following week we could already see a difference with Ninja and not one accident in side. Graham is a legend. He didn’t make us feel bad, for basically bad behaviours we had let Ninja get away with, resulting in him being very unhappy. Now, after four 1 hr lessons, we have a calmer and much happier puppy. Would highly recommend Graham to any dog owner!

After researching a few dog training places, I was impressed with all the good reviews from 101 Training.
Me and Chris choose to sign Lucy our 10 month old American Staffy up for basic obedience in-house training with Graham.
After the first session Lucy went from going 150 miles an hour to being calm sitting on her training mat.
The first results was amazing we could not believe the change in Lucy's behaviour -suddenly we had a method to calm Lucy! The mat was actually working.
Graham gave us exercises to practice with Lucy at home to give her time out on her Mat to calm down, Lucy mastered them in about three weeks being a stubborn American Staffy and always pushing her boundaries.
We then had the confidence with people over at the house to let them near Lucy as we knew how to calm her down, Graham showed us how to stop Lucy from jumping and behaving appropriately.
The next hurdle was to walk Lucy in public without her pulling and attacking other dogs and getting stuck at one particular house at the fence and just socialising appropriately.
Graham also did that in a jiffy ,soon she learn to sit and stay in the park.
Never in my wildest dreams I thought I would ever walk our two American Staffy's together, but with the help of Graham he got them in one session to walk together without pulling, Graham really know how to work with dogs and he works magic with stubborn dogs!
I couldn't recommend the obedience training highly enough.
Graham showed us how to teach Lucy without any yelling good manners.
We are confident to have visitors over again.
After having this training Lucy is even calm in the car.

Our new fur baby is Bella just over 5 months .
We had previously completed puppy classes and wanted to some sort of obedience training as she was becoming a bit of a handful!
Graham came out for some In home training and after the first lesson Bella was more calm !
We have just finished the fourth lesson and we can feed her with our cats! Can keep her from jumping on visitors she now walks very well on her lead and can sit stay come when called and is much better behaved! Graham has given us the confidence ( especially me being the mumma lol )
To keep her calm and get her to follow us !
We will be doing more lessons in the future we cannot thank Graham enough!
He teaches the dogs gently no force and calmly Bella thinks he is the bees knees !
Cant recommend Graham and Dogtraining 101 enough!

We have 2 Am Staffs the girl we had 1st for about a year and the boy we got 2nd. For the 1st year together we had no issues and what seemed like all of sudden they had a huge fight. We were desperate for help as we had to completely seperate our dogs from each other which was difficult at times. We thought people will judge us and think there a vicious breed and what do you expect, but we were confused as they seemed so close and were not ever vicious! People can be very prejudice towards Staffys. We reached out to Qld Am Staff rescue via FB and they told us to contact Graham which was the best thing we ever did. We had 4 home visits with him and he changed everything for us in a really good way. We stuck to everything he taught us and put in the effort and due to those efforts our dogs are now so happy as they now have their owners who are in charge and in control who they can look up to (that would be us) and be their pack leaders. They are now back together playing with each other rough and crazy as Staffys do, walk together and we've had no issues. Graham was patient and really loves ALL breeds of dogs. He knows what he's talking about. We felt so guilty when he would teach us things on how the dogs think and act as we realised although we had every good intention we were doing things wrong. Graham always reassured us and would say you don't know until you know or want to know! Your the best Graham and will forever have a place in our hearts for how you helped us with our dogs

We had Sonia enter our home 8 weeks ago to help us with our 4 year old Beagle that we got just before Christmas. Louie didn’t like being at home on his own and used to dig his way out and cry and bark a lot. Since having Sonia come and train us how to be better doggy parents, Louie is now able to be outside by himself, he has stopped trying to dig his way out of the yard and we are now focusing on his walking and him not pulling as much. I can’t thank Sonia enough for the time and effort she has put in to help us. I was at the point where I didn’t know what to do with Louie and was ready to re home him. Louie still has a long way to go but he has come leaps and bounds in just 8 weeks.

Graham came to us for some in home training for our 2yo Lab who has had some issues with barking and being a bit nervous around new people. He was also a bit frustrating to walk on the lead.
After a few sessions with Graham we can now take him to work, cafes, the gym with us and he is so relaxed and just loves people. Yesterday our friends 2 year old child was walking him and he just trotted happily beside her and didn't pull on the lead once. Amazing progress!

We started out having Graham come to our house for some one on one training with our 3yo Labrador, Max. He worked wonders with Max’s confidence and showed us the tools to keep it up. My partner and I where given a 10month old puppy Toohey who hadn’t had the greatest start to life, at 13 months we had decided enough was enough and we would get training. When I took Muffin to Dog Training 101 puppy school, I was soo happy. I previously had Muffin in another puppy school however it wasn’t what I expected it to be, no teaching, no play times and Muffin got stood on so many times by bigger puppies. Dog Training 101 really makes it safe for smaller puppies with bigger puppies. They’re so amazing with puppies/dogs. I have a 1yr old frenchie that has a barking issue. He would bark at little noise and our neighbors such as a little movements he can see thru the fence. Also he barks at a bird sitting in our garden and ppl in our suburb walking pass with their dogs. He also has an issue when we go for a walk. He rather looks agitated at other dogs walking by on a street therefore walking with him in the arvo when a lot of ppl and dogs go for a walk became a challenge.
So we called Dog Training 101 then we met Alien
She is a very lovely person and very informative!!
We're still working on him getting used to those situations so these small problems hasn't been solved yet however, when we do train him, I can see him calming down. Hopefully the day we enjoy a walk with him and go to a cafe together comes soon.

I liked the training cause my husband and I learned more about dogs and Alien approaches in very humane ways but firm so Pecan knows he can trust us.
After all, my husband and I are happy with it and can't wait to meet other dogs at park doing some more training!!

My 5 month old cavoodle has been doing Obedience training Lvl 1 for the past few weeks. I've noticed such a huge improvement in his behaviour. We recently had Graham come to us for in home training for our 8 year old Staffy who had issues with other dogs. Walks were a rare event and normally late at night and avoiding houses we knew had dogs in their yards. We used to sneak into the dog park in the dark to get them their exercise when nobody else was around. Now walks are a breeze and happen much more often and during daylight hours as well. We can pass other dogs and there is no longer barking, pulling and lunging. Tonight for the first time ever I tried walking both dogs together by myself as I knew I would be able to successfully manage them together on my own if we passed another dog. They both walked perfectly and I couldn't be prouder. Mat training has also given us two much calmer and better behaved dogs. The both listen to us and follow our directions now. So thank you Graham for training both us humans and Zeus and Charli. My only regret is not booking in sooner! Cannot recommend them highly enough!

I can't thank Graham enough for all his help with our crazy labrador! We were at our wits end with our dog who had numerous problem behaviours and who was basically ruling the household! After the first session Molly was like a different dog. However when we started implementing the new techniques she didn't like the changes and seemed to get worse. Graham went above and beyond and came out to our house free of charge to check what was happening. Turns out our dog didn't like our new rules and was testing us! Graham told us to persevere and we are so glad we did. Molly is like a different dog. She is no longer attacking us, chewing our furniture/house, she can play nice with the kids and her problem barking has improved dramatically!

Very impressed with the training we have received for our crazy Staffy puppy Bonnie. She's 5 & 1/2 months of age so full of lots of nervous energy. They have both given excellent advice for me to follow and the training has been second to none!!!! Highly recommend this company if you are looking into having your dog trained. We have always had Staffy breed dogs for pets and have previously tried other dog trainers from privately owned companies, unfortunately the training didn't work out for us (being treat based the dogs would only listen if they received a treat....) Our puppy Minnow has never been too much trouble, but we wanted to iron a few behaviours out like our inability to control when she jumps on strangers in public, and her new found strength and pulling on the lead when out for walks. As soon as Kylie walked into the room, Minnow knew who was boss. Kylie had a strong yet calm presence, and really focussed on the positive character traits our puppy showed, giving her lots of praise but also being firm and showing us what's required to keep Minnow obedient and ultimately keep her happy. I cannot recommend DogTraining 101 highly enough. I had Graham come to my house to do Obedience Training with my 2 recently adopted rescue puppers, Casper (StaffyX) and Maggie (Bull Arab). During the sessions, an issue was uncovered with Maggie being aggressive towards other dogs while out walking (she had obviously been attacked whilst out walking herself) and with Grahams guidance this has now been resolved. Seeing how much my two kelpies have changed and how obedient they've become just over a short few weeks. Brilliant course 100% recommend!

Today I had Graham come to visit to help me with my 5.5 month old kelpie pup who has a habit of chasing her tail. With just one session learning "matt" training techniques, I can already see an improvement. Graham also showed me techniques on teaching Dixie how to walk on a lead correctly and was astonished at how quickly she was walking next to me. I know it will take some weeks of repetition but with what I have learnt today I'm 100% positive Dixie will break her habit of tail chasing. Thanks so much Graham and dog training 101

I would Highly Recommend Dog Training 101 as my recent experience completing 4 in home lessons with Graham has been Excellent & Graham’s knowledge and expertise is astounding!
I can't thank Graham enough for what he has done for me and my precious 11-month-old Border Collie Dexta. In just 4 weeks, he has helped me to improve Dexta’s problem behaviours by giving me the tools, instruction and support I needed, I am absolutely amazed how quickly Dexta has changed with the strategies that we were shown to use. With just one session learning "matt training" techniques and also how to walk on a lead correctly, I was amazed at how quickly Dexta was walking next to me on a lead after just one lesson. Graham has outstanding knowledge of dog behaviour and behavioural correction techniques. Dexta loved him & even my cat loved him too lol.
We are looking forward to starting the dog obedience classes next week with Dog Training 101!

I had a 1 hour training session with Graham and my very strong willed miniature schnauzer, Dusty, and it turned our lives around. After 15 minutes Dusty was walking nicely on the lead, and we are now enjoying our walks. I am persevering with mat training and setting limits at home, and Dusty now knows I am in charge. Thank you Graham, I couldn't recommend DogTraining101 highly enough....I just wish I had sought help months ago!

We had Kylie come to our home and work with our Ridgeback x Kelpie. Kylie was fantastic, very knowledgeable and had great skills to teach us as well as Luna. Luna is well behaved but we struggled walking her when theres other dogs around. So Kylie taught us how to correct her. And within minutes we saw a massive improvement. 5 stars all round!!
